With every home-from-home comfort you could ask for, the gîte is mobility friendly with extra-wide doors, walk-in shower (with shower seat if required), and even an audio loop should you need it.
The lounge-diner is spacious and welcoming with TV, DVD (plus internet using WI-FI if you’re tempted to stay in touch with the real world!). Prepare a veritable feast in the cheffy kitchen (fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave etc) or enjoy a beer at the barbie on the terrace. Either way, take to the evening sun and enjoy the views from the terrace, while you sip on a glass (or two) of wine. To be honest, the view from the shower is pretty spectacular too (there are no neighbours for miles, so you can shower with the window open, sans problème!).
Come night-fall, there’s a really comfortable, spacious and romantic double bedroom and a cosy twin or double bedded room (we’ll set it up to your preference). All the beds will be made up ready for your arrival with crisp cotton bed linen (we’ve put in a hairdryer to save you bringing your own!). In the modern and stylish shower-room with double basins and loo, you’ll find stacks of fluffy towels (we even provide pool towels to save your baggage allowances for more exciting things!).
Outside there’s a private terrace with barbecue, table and chairs and access to the shared, 12 metre, sunken Romanesque pool (which is fully alarmed). There’s plenty of space for relaxing and catching some rays by the gîte or on any one of our glorious 16 hectares, which we invite you to treat as your own during your stay, whatever the time of year: even the winter sun here can be unbelievably warm.
The gîte which is electrically heated is perfect for winter as well as summer visits and can comfortably sleep up to 6 (thanks to the comfy bed settees in the lounge-diner).
A holiday at “La Teranga” will introduce you to or re-acquaint you with a lifestyle you thought had disappeared decades ago.
